Our client is a rapidly growing e-commerce brand seeking a highly analytical and creative Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to lead their performance marketing initiatives. This hybrid role will involve developing and executing data-driven strategies across paid search, paid social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing significant advertising budgets, optimizing campaigns for ROI, and continuously testing and iterating to achieve ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
You will work closely with the marketing team, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive campaign execution and messaging. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive campaign strategies, managing A/B testing, analyzing campaign performance data, and providing actionable insights and recommendations. Strong experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic advertising, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics is essential. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong quantitative background and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly. This position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US , requiring regular in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies across various performance channels. Manage and optimize paid search (SEM), paid social, display, and affiliate marketing campaigns. Oversee significant advertising budgets and ensure maximum ROI. Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives. Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc. Generate detailed reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations. Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to develop compelling ad creatives and landing pages. Stay current with digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and new platform opportunities. Identify and test new marketing channels and growth opportunities. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field; MBA a plus. 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on performance marketing and paid acquisition. Proven expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other major ad platforms. Demonstrated experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Strong understanding of SEM, SEO, social media marketing, and programmatic advertising. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills. Experience managing large advertising budgets. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms is a plus.
