I run a boutique accounting and financial services firm that helps small business owners in the greater Washington D.C. area get control of their books, improve cash flow, and confidently grow.

I also run a local lifestyle newsletter (4,000+ subscribers) that reaches residents across Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, and Fairfax.

Now I want to combine these two assets — media + services — into a smart, high-trust lead funnel.

The rough idea

Offer free or low-cost advertising placement in my newsletter to attract local business owners, then invite them into a 45-minute marketing + financial clarity call. From there, convert the right-fit folks into a retainer ($399–$3,000/month).

But I need a strategic partner to tighten this concept, pressure-test assumptions, and map out the step-by-step experience — from opt-in to upsell — in a way that builds trust fast.

Collaborate with me 1:1 to define the core offer (free vs. LTO, perceived value, copy hooks)
Create a visual funnel map (FigJam or similar)
Advise on:
Offer positioning & pricing psychology
Frictionless onboarding for business owners
Workshop call flow (marketing/financial insights + pitch)
The path from “free promo” to retainer client
Think through local trust levers (social proof, urgency, exclusivity, etc.)
