Role and Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Worker at Amazon, you will play an essential part in ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and shipped on time. This position involves working in a dynamic, physically active environment where teamwork and technology are key. Core responsibilities include:

Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and materials.
Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to pick customer orders and pack products securely for delivery.
Shipping: Label, stage, and move packages to prepare them for timely shipment.
Workplace Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (with certification) and complete safety checks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all Amazon safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse systems

Preferred Qualifications

Previous warehouse or logistics experience (not required)
Forklift certification is an advantage; training available if needed
