Summary

The Digital Marketing Solutions Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue success by closely collaborating with sales representatives and engaging directly with clients to understand their advertising strategies, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs). By utilizing the extensive range of Cox Media assets including digital media, linear solutions, and creative services, this role crafts tailored solutions that effectively address clients' advertising objectives.

Focusing on high-value client and prospect accounts, the Solutions Manager develops personalized strategies and impactful narratives to meet each advertiser’s specific marketing goals, setting Media Consultants up for success in their pitches and client interactions.

This hybrid position requires regular face-to-face meetings with a dedicated portfolio of valuable external clients throughout the entire sales process, from business analysis to proposal development and closing deals, as well as ongoing account management and growth. The Solutions Manager will ensure seamless alignment with support teams, including digital fulfillment, to bring strategies to fruition and provide ongoing campaign support.

Key responsibilities include translating client needs into comprehensive multi-channel advertising solutions aligned with their marketing objectives, resulting in client-facing proposals that effectively inform and persuade regarding the best marketing strategies for their goals. Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth and minimized client churn.

Location: This position requires residence at one of the Phoenix/Tucson, Arizona Cox Communications locations listed in the job profile. The role allows for a flexible schedule with a mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding Client Needs

Engage in-person and virtually with clients to thoroughly comprehend their business goals.
Convert goals into actionable performance KPIs to guide campaign planning and execution.

Developing Proposals & Creating Solutions

Lead brainstorming sessions with internal partners to craft strategies using the full scope of Cox Media products.
Identify effective digital channels in conjunction with the media planning team to enhance customer outreach.
Create compelling presentation materials that articulate the proposed solution's value proposition.
Develop strategic advertising solutions for RFPs by synthesizing data and insights.

Engaging Clients in the Solution

Present strategy and recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
Support Sales Consultants in addressing client inquiries promptly.

Implementing Strategies

Design and support the execution of approved campaigns, collaborating with key teams.
Act as a primary point of contact for the centralized digital team throughout campaign development.
Partner with campaign managers to implement optimization recommendations for enhanced effectiveness.

Analyzing Campaign Results for Future Opportunities

Analyze reporting and insights, translating results to identify new opportunities for clients.
Share actionable insights with clients to bolster campaign effectiveness.
Establish strong consultative relationships with clients to boost satisfaction and cultivate future business.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 6 years of experience in Digital Marketing, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Strategic mindset with the ability to understand and translate client advertising goals into solutions with positive ROI.
Demonstrated expertise in digital media advertising and ability to articulate complex concepts.
Strong skills in creating compelling pitches summarizing strategies and their benefits.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficient in PowerPoint with storytelling capabilities.
Must reside in the assigned Cox market, and report to the Cox office as per current work policies.

Preferred

A degree in a related discipline is highly desirable.
Experience with various digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, social media, and analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics and pixel strategies.
Background in consumer-focused industries.
Knowledge of customer segmentation and personalization methods.
Certifications in digital marketing platforms.
Experience with linear television advertising.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,100.00 - $150,100.00 annually. The final base salary will depend on the chosen candidate's skills and location. This position may also participate in an incentive program.
