Cox Communications, Inc. is seeking a Digital Advertising Product Manager to join its dynamic Cox Media team. This role is integral to the success of our local advertising portfolio and offers an exciting opportunity to lead product management efforts.

The Product Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned advertising products, drive revenue growth, implement product enhancements, and assess the performance of existing offerings. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for digital advertising and the desire to shape innovative advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Become a subject matter expert on assigned products, leading cross-departmental initiatives that enhance the Product Management Team's success.
Collaborate with the Sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share and boosting revenue for all products.
Work with Cox Media markets to facilitate seamless product launches and enhancements, provide effective training, and gather valuable market feedback.
Ensure that product offerings are accurately positioned, supported by data-driven research, in alignment with the Marketing Center of Excellence.
Partner with Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) and Operations teams to ensure fulfillment and billing practices are in line with sales philosophy.
Engage with the Finance team to maintain operating plans and budgets, managing expenses effectively.
Drive product enhancements by collaborating with technology teams in an agile environment.
Assist in creating business cases that support roadmap investments and identify opportunities to add value to the product portfolio.
Continuously assess programmatic inventory sources, identifying optimization opportunities to maximize campaign performance.
Survey the marketplace for new revenue-generating inventory sources and lead partnerships with new supply partners and publishers.
Interface with local, national, and sales teams, offering product knowledge and client strategy support.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure accountability and high service levels while continually assessing performance.
Build and sustain strong business relationships with internal and external partners, articulating our needs for products and services that align with company objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Advertising, Business, etc.) and 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with up to 4 years of experience; or a PhD with 1 year of experience; or 18 years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience with digital media advertising products.
Experience with digital video advertising, Freewheel, and Audience Manager tools.
Understanding of advanced video advertising concepts such as Addressable TV, Programmatic, and DSPs.
Ability to foster collaboration across different departments.
Demonstrated capability to manage external partnerships effectively.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently under pressure while delivering measurable results.
Commitment to personal development and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in management roles or leading cross-functional projects.
Experience with DSP/SSP related to inventory negotiation.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $108,800.00 to $181,400.00, complemented by potential performance-based incentives.
