Our client, a fast-paced media organization, is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Digital Communications Manager to lead their remote communications strategy. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive digital communications plan that enhances brand visibility, engages target audiences, and supports business objectives. You will leverage your expertise in content creation, social media management, SEO, and digital advertising to drive impactful campaigns across various online channels. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a data-driven approach and a proven track record of success in the digital media landscape.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic digital communications plan aligned with organizational goals. Oversee all aspects of the company's online presence, including website content, social media platforms, email marketing, and digital advertising. Create compelling and engaging content for various digital channels, including blog posts, articles, social media updates, videos, and infographics. Manage and grow the company's social media presence, fostering community engagement and driving audience growth. Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings. Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) to maximize reach and ROI. Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital communications efforts using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights). Stay current with digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and editorial, to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as needed. Develop crisis communication plans for digital channels. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior communications staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in digital communications, public relations, or digital marketing. Proven experience in developing and executing successful digital communication strategies. Demonstrated expertise in content creation, social media management, SEO/SEM, and email marketing. Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress. Strong understanding of digital analytics tools and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment. Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
