Job Summary of Digital Products Intern

This role at Santander provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on experience in digital product development and management. Interns will gain exposure to Santander’s digital banking platform, Openbank, while supporting product teams in improving customer journeys, documenting requirements, testing new functionalities, and analyzing data. The program develops technical, analytical, and collaborative skills in a professional fintech environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Digital Products Intern:

• Support customer journey mapping and evaluate current experiences to recommend improvements.
• Assist in documenting business requirements, including building epics and user stories in Jira.
• Maintain ongoing stakeholder communication with Subject Matter Experts in Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
• Support quality assurance efforts by testing new functionalities built by development teams.
• Analyze user and application data to identify friction points and provide recommendations to improve conversion rates.
• Assist in facilitating agile processes across product and development teams.

Qualifications and Experience of Digital Products Intern:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with expected graduation between December 2026 and May/June 2027.
• Field of study: Technology, IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and work independently on projects.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and professional courage.
• Coursework or exposure to accounting, finance, economics, or business.
• Experience with ChatGPT, Celonis, Microsoft Office, or Jira.

Salary

The base annualized salary for this internship is $83,200.
