  • *Position Summary**:

The Specialist, Financial Reconciliation, Ecommerce, will be mainly responsible for the Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and bank account statements from various eStore payment methods.

This person will also develop the new payment reconciliation process and lead related projects according to additional payment options which are aligned with newly adopted e-Store business models based on diagnosis of existing financial processes and procedures requirements.

In addition, there will be other opportunities to lead or participate in projects to enhance the existing financial reconciliation automation process as well as new merchant expansion.

  • *Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
  • Management of all internal customer account clearing related to our e-commerce business
  • Daily bank reconciliation of all e-commerce business transactions
  • E-commerce customer account reconciliation (clearing and settlement transactions in SAP)
  • Open-item management of all e-commerce customer related transactions
  • Perform daily reconciliation monitoring and provide analysis summary including root cause and resolution plan
  • Investigate variance to Merchant transaction requirement and provide alert to partners leading enhancement project to reduce gap
  • Continuous process improvement of payment and financial flows for e-commerce transactions
  • Validation of merchant/financing/platform partner service charges
  • Process manual refunds or create sales/refund transactions if necessary
  • Monthly accruals
  • Invoice processing for e-commerce vendors
  • P&L analysis of all e-commerce sales
  • eCommerce financial reconciliation process design and project lead
  • *Education**:
  • University degree or College equivalent (Business Administration, Commerce or Accounting) preferred
  • *Knowledge**:
  • Knowledge of ERP (SAP preferable - Order, Return, Replacement, Refund);
  • MS Office suite required, Strong Excel VBA an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines with mínimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime during month-end closing if required
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to adopt to change and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge in eCommerce payment & fraud management process
  • Experience in defending chargeback
  • *Experience**:
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
