Growth Marketing Manager
The role requires a data-driven and product-centric marketer to accelerate the growth of Formative.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for orchestrating initiatives to get the company's learning tools into more educators' hands, ensuring continued impact on education.
The Growth Marketing Manager will work closely with in-house channel specialists to achieve primary business goals: increase qualified traffic, conversion rates, and paid customer acquisition.
- Drive growth through project ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on optimization of the user journey in a high-velocity testing environment.
This is a role for marketers who excel at analyzing data, launching tests, and improving systems. The manager will have autonomy to make a direct, measurable impact and collaborate with a deeply knowledgeable team.
Key responsibilities include
- Orchestrate growth initiatives by guiding campaign strategy and ensuring cohesive execution.
- Own the conversion funnel by continuously building, testing, and improving the user journey from first visit to paid customer.
- Leverage in-product messaging to guide users toward activation and payment.
- Independently analyze and act on data to propose the next set of tests and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring
- A proven track record in driving growth, with specific initiatives and metrics.
- Deep channel expertise and collaborative skills, with mastery in at least one or two key acquisition channels.
- Advanced technical proficiency, with experience navigating a modern growth stack and incorporating AI tools into marketing workflows.
- A relentless, systematic approach to optimization and problem-solving.
- ROI-driven thinking, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
Previous EdTech experience is a plus, but not required. The company offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $82,800 - $110,000, as well as incentive stock options and benefits.
