Compensation Range: $20.00 - $24.00 USD Hourly

The compensation above is the estimated hiring range for this position. Final offers are determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related considerations.

What You Will Be Doing

This position supports the strategic management, optimization, and daily operations of the Pathify mobile app in collaboration with the Dean of Student Orientation, Activities, and Moody Engage. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate, timely, and engaging content, enhancing the student user experience, and ensuring the platform serves as a central hub for student engagement.

The role also oversees user groups and targeted communication pathways to ensure that messaging reaches relevant student cohorts (learning modality, major, campus, classification, etc.). Additionally, this position supports cross-channel communication campaigns and co-supervises the Moody Engage student worker team with existing part-time staff. Success in this role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and student-centered approach to keep the platform and communication efforts relevant, accessible, and intuitive.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with the Dean of Student Orientation, Activities, and Moody Engage to manage, curate, and optimize content within the Pathify mobile and web platforms.
  • Ensure the initial load, ongoing updates, auditing, and version control of all information presented within the app.
  • Monitor platform analytics to inform improvements in engagement, navigation flow, and content strategy.
  • Serve as a liaison with ITS, Marketing, and Pathify personnel to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and ensure brand and accessibility compliance.
  • Oversee user groups and ensure communication reaches the appropriate student cohorts, leveraging segmentation to improve relevance and clarity.
  • Assess and refine user pathways, including onboarding flows, action items, and recommended resources to improve retention and student success.
  • Develop, test, and update student-facing tutorials, FAQs, micro-guides, and engagement tools within the app.
  • Support institution-wide communication campaigns across all channels (email, SMS, social, Pathify notifications, print, etc.).
  • Coordinate message timing, tone, sequencing, and cross-platform consistency to ensure a seamless experience for students.
  • Work closely with Moody Engage, Admissions, and Academics to maintain unified messaging and reduce communication clutter.
  • Assist in supervising Moody Engage student workers, including delegating tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of communication deliverables.
  • Partner with existing part-time staff to train student workers, develop workflows, and improve turnaround time for communication requests.
  • Model professional communication and digital content practices for the student team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Student Orientation, Activities, and Moody Engage

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with student engagement platforms (Pathify, Canvas, Slate, or similar tools).
  • Experience managing digital content or communication workflows.
  • Ability to supervise student employees and manage multiple priorities.
  • Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements

  • Direct experience with Pathify
  • Experience in higher education or digital communication preferred.

This position is required to be performed on the Chicago campus of Moody Bible Institute, with a minimum on-site presence of four days per week and a weekly schedule of 28 hours. The role is classified as having minimal physical demands
