Transform Brand Authority Into Predictable Pipeline

CAC Media & Publishing is building a network of elite fractional CMOs who turn strategic marketing into measurable revenue outcomes for growth-stage companies ($5M-$50M).

What You'll Do

Lead development of quarterly marketing strategies and the rhythm of business execution for 2-3 select clients simultaneously, operating as their senior marketing executive. You'll align closely with the CEO or Founder for quarterly planning and then be in charge of mentoring their team to hit milestones and achieve rocks that accomplish the strategy. You'll diagnose pipeline bottlenecks, architect growth plays, and build marketing systems that scale—then coach internal teams to execute with excellence for the clients working approximately 5-10 hours a week with each client, ideally for two years.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years leading marketing strategy in B2B, SaaS, or trust-critical service industries
• Proven ability to collaborate at the C-suite level in a consultative, coaching capacity
• Hands-on expertise executing digital marketing campaigns and leading marketing teams
• Track record of transforming marketing departments from tactical to strategic functions
• Ability, connections, and case studies to sell yourself and your services in this capacity
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure where none exists

Mentorship & Growth

You'll be directly mentored by Corinne Cavanaugh, founder of CAC Media & Publishing, leveraging 20+ years scaling marketing operations at Microsoft, Liberty Mutual, and as a 2x agency founder. Harvard-educated with board service experience, Corinne has published three books and is an Amazon best-selling author. She brings both Fortune 500 rigor and entrepreneurial agility to developing fractional executives who want to elevate their strategic impact.

What Makes This Different

This is an independent contractor role compensated through a revenue split model—not a W2 position. Compensation percentage varies on if you bring the client to the table or are given the lead. You'll maintain full autonomy over your client work while collaborating with other fractional executives who understand the unique demands of portfolio-based leadership.
