About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director and Head of Industry Marketing – HiTech Vertical to serve as the global marketing leader for HCLTech’s HiTech industry. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies that directly support business growth, pipeline development and brand leadership across geographies.

In this role, you will lead the HiTech Vertical marketing organization globally and work in close

partnership with business unit leadership, sales, and cross-functional teams across regions. Your

mandate will be to ensure strong alignment between marketing initiatives and the HiTech business

strategy, enabling the achievement of strategic and revenue objectives.

Through your global HiTech marketing team, you will define and communicate compelling,

differentiated messages to priority audiences, establish HCLTech as a thought leader in the HiTech

industry, and creatively showcase our strengths, solutions and industry-specific value propositions to decision-makers and key influencers.

This role reports into VP and Global Head of TMT marketing and is critical to advancing HCLTech’s

position as a trusted transformation partner for HiTech enterprises worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Serve as the Global Marketing Head for the HiTech vertical, defining and executing an

integrated, multi-channel marketing strategy across geographies.

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a global team of marketing professionals, providing clear direction,

performance goals and ongoing development to drive excellence across regions.

  • Drive strategic programs that showcase HCLTech’s HiTech vision, propositions, solutions, and

services, aligned to business priorities and market opportunities.

Go-to-Market & Campaign Execution

  • Design and execute innovative client engagement platforms and programs to drive awareness,

deepen relationships and accelerate demand generation.

  • Lead the development and execution of multi-channel, persona-driven and demand-signal based campaigns, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM), digital campaigns, events,

content syndication, and social selling initiatives.

  • Create and curate high-impact content and content experiences that support the full buyer

journey and enhance engagement across target accounts.

CXO Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Create and scale CXO-level engagement platforms that strengthen executive relationships

and position HCLTech as a strategic partner in the HiTech industry.

  • Build and enhance HCLTech’s brand reputation and thought leadership presence within the

HiTech vertical across geographies.

  • Work closely with geo and cross-functional teams to develop compelling content, including

case studies, whitepapers, videos, webinars, client-generated content, and industry thought

leadership.

Sales Alignment & Revenue Impact

  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership and teams across geographies to build and execute

marketing plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Drive pipeline generation and revenue growth through demand generation initiatives, crosssell and upsell programs, and deal renewal support.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify high-value target accounts, key stakeholders, and buyer

groups, and execute ABM and people-based marketing initiatives tailored to their business

needs.

  • Create in-market capability differentiation that positively impacts deal velocity, win rates and

deal outcomes.

Performance, Analytics & Optimization

  • Track, analyze and optimize the performance of campaigns, content, and events to

continuously improve effectiveness and ROI.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership against agreed performance metrics,

highlighting outcomes, learnings, and recommendations for future strategy.

  • Own marketing planning, budgeting, rollout, tracking, and executive reporting with clear,

actionable insights.

Innovation & Operational Excellence

  • Evaluate and adopt new marketing technologies, platforms, and add-on applications to

enhance marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and team performance.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset to inform decisionmaking and strategy refinement.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, working closely with stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements and Skills

  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant experience leading industry or vertical

marketing at a global scale.

  • Proven experience in technology, consulting or professional services marketing, preferably

within the HiTech industry.

  • Strong expertise in Account-Based Marketing, demand generation, integrated campaigns,

digital marketing, and events.

  • Demonstrated ability to align marketing strategy with business objectives and drive

measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

  • Experience leading and developing global, multi-geo marketing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior

business and sales leaders.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and budgeting capabilities, with a focus on ROI and performance

optimization.

  • Experience leveraging marketing technology and platforms (CRM, marketing automation,

analytics, ABM tools).
