Job Title: Marketing Manager 3

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 6 months (yes, expected to be a full 18-month contract after the budget approval)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (No OT)

Pay Rate Range: $30 to $35/hr

Role Summary

As a Marketing Manager, you will own end-to-end measurement, reporting, and investigative workflows related to web performance and marketing impact. You will work across multiple data sources—including behavioural analytics, web analytics platforms, Excel, BI tools, and experimentation frameworks—to deliver clear, data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the impact of web projects and cross-team initiatives, both proactively and in response to stakeholder requests
  • Design, run, and evaluate web experiments using platforms such as Ninetailed and internal experimentation frameworks
  • Use FullStory to analyse user behaviour, engagement, usability, funnels, and journeys
  • Answer ad-hoc questions related to user behaviour, funnel performance, and marketing impact using FullStory and Power BI
  • Produce monthly reporting on web engagement, including session patterns, behavioural insights, and page-level trends
  • Partner with product managers and marketers to clarify ambiguous analytics questions and translate them into structured analyses
  • Conduct page-level and flow-level investigations to identify conversion issues and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to analyse sales funnels originating from web lead sources

Experience

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in web analytics and/or marketing analytics
  • Experience supporting marketing, growth, or web teams with performance analysis

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data manipulation)
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies, including experiment design, execution, and interpretation
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts (power, significance, confidence intervals)

Analytical & Communication Skills

  • Ability to turn loosely defined or ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill insights into actionable recommendations
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple stakeholders and requests

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with FullStory or similar behavioural analytics tools
  • Proficiency in SQL and querying large datasets
  • Experience with experimentation platforms (Ninetailed, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly)
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau
  • Understanding of SEO analytics, documentation analytics, or logged-in user behaviour
  • Experience working with developer-focused products (bonus)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Best Fit: Data-driven marketer with a performance marketing or agency background, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to clearly communicate insights to leadership
  • Acceptable Fit: Performance marketing professionals with solid web analytics fundamentals (CTR, conversion rates) and strong Excel and analytics tool proficiency
