BYK Digital is a restaurant-focused digital marketing agency with over 10 years in business and more than 100 clients across the United States. We are seeking a driven and hospitality-minded Business Development Professional with a genuine passion for the restaurant industry. If you’ve worked as a server, bartender, or in restaurant management and have a strong understanding of how owners operate, what they value, and what they struggle with, this role is built for you.

You’ll use your industry insight to connect with restaurant owners, identify opportunities for partnership, and develop strategies that help them grow—while driving growth for BYK Digital. This paid position is perfect for someone who thrives on relationship-building, understands the fast-paced nature of food and beverage, and wants to apply their front-of-house experience to a strategic, career-advancing role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restaurant and hospitality sector through outreach, networking, and market research
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with restaurant owners, operators, and industry partners
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that expand our client base and support revenue goals
  • Use CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) to organize contacts, track opportunities, and manage communication
  • Lead thoughtful, restaurant-aware negotiations that align client needs with company objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to shape campaigns tailored to industry audiences
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines, ensuring goals are met and partnerships run smoothly
  • Monitor pipeline activity and performance data within CRM systems to support continuous improvement

Skills

  • Prior restaurant or bar experience strongly preferred; ability to speak the language of restaurant owners
  • Proven success in business development, sales, or related client-facing roles
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals and project management practices
  • Ability to translate restaurant challenges into strategic solutions
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working both independently and collaboratively
