Active International in Canada is seeking a **Digital Buyer** in the growing media buying department. This role will be responsible for executing, optimizing, and reporting on all digital media campaigns for Company clients.

  • *Key Responsibilities**:
  • Media Growth_
  • Help grow Active’s digital footprint by presenting digital capabilities to new and existing clients/partner agencies.
  • Build outstanding positive relationships with media vendors, clients, and AORs.
  • Campaign Management_
  • Work with client and/or AOR to ensure we are briefed on the campaign with required campaign information, such as planning deck, blocking charts, etc.
  • Reach out to vendors for RFPs and build out campaign recommendation, if required.
  • Create Media Authorization Form (MAF) for each campaign and send MAF to the client/AOR for signoff.
  • Create Buyshell including all details and information Media Assistant requires for entering into Prisma.
  • Once MAF is signed, reach out to vendors for IOs based on the client’s plan and review and sign off IOs.
  • Build out a campaign on a vendor platform if self-serve or provide instructions to a vendor for managed campaigns.
  • If not handled by AOR, send the creative agency the creative assets required and trafficking instructions.
  • Work with vendors to implement tags, pixels, UTM codes, etc., and ensure the campaign is launched on time.
  • Collaborate with client/AOR/Vendor to ensure buy objectives are met.
  • Ensure the strategy and implementation of digital media buys are efficient and effective.
  • Monitor and optimize buys.
  • Ensure delivery reports are accurate and go out on time, including insights and recommended optimizations.
  • Utilize digital research tools to provide recommendations where necessary.
  • Verify monthly billing to client is accurate, and that vendor invoices are processed on time and reach out to media vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare final detailed Post Buy Report deck and present to client/AOR.
  • Attend and present at client, agency, and vendor meetings as required.
  • Resolve discrepancies.
  • Help create trade deals.
  • Train, mentor, coach and oversee media assistant(s).

  • *Education & Experience**
  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma with a preferred focus on Media, Communications, and/or Business Marketing; or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with industry certifications i.e., Google, Facebook, IAB, etc.
  • Minimum 3+ years of the digital media buying experience.
  • Solid expertise in buying on all Google Platforms - GDN, SEM, YouTube.
  • Fluency in 3rd party dashboards such as MOAT, Double Verify, IAS, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience buying Social and Programmatic an asset.
