Job Description

Walmart is seeking a passionate and driven Entry-Level Digital Marketing Intern to join our team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing within a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of social media content calendars and campaigns across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the digital landscape.
- Support SEO efforts by assisting with keyword research, content optimization, and basic website audits.
- Contribute to email marketing initiatives, including drafting copy, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign performance.
- Help create and curate engaging content for our digital channels, including blog posts, ad copy, and website updates.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all digital touchpoints.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new marketing strategies.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and marketing trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Experience with social media management platforms or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite).
- A personal online portfolio or examples of digital content creation (e.g., blog posts, social media campaigns).
