With over 2 million players & tens of thousands of 5* reviews, we have a proven product which we are looking to leverage via paid media and e-comm improvements.
The Role
We’re looking for a Local & Community Marketing Manager who can bridge the gap between national marketing strategy and local market execution. This person will be the go-to partner for our store General Managers - helping them drive local awareness, build community relationships, and maximize marketing opportunities in their regions. Beyond local activations, this is also a core marketing management role. You’ll help coordinate campaigns across multiple channels, manage timelines and creative deliverables, and ensure flawless execution of national initiatives at the store level.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented marketer who knows how to get things done. You’ll balance strategic thinking with operational follow-through, helping maintain a clear marketing calendar and ensuring every campaign launches in stores on time and with impact.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Marketing Management
- Support the execution of national campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Help manage a detailed marketing calendar, ensuring all campaign milestones, creative deadlines, and local activations stay on track.
- Work cross-functionally with social, design, PR, and brand teams to coordinate deliverables.
- Help brief designers and external partners on creative needs and ensure output aligns with brand guidelines.
- Ensure we create attention-grabbing creative work that aligns with our brand positioning & guidelines
- Review in store campaign performance and report on learnings to improve future execution.
- Maintain an understanding of customer segments, local market nuances, and competitive activity.
Local Market & Community Engagement
- Act as a key marketing partner to General Managers across Immersive Gamebox stores, supporting them in executing local marketing plans and community engagement efforts.
- Build relationships with mall managers, local businesses, schools, and organizations to identify partnership and promotional opportunities.
- Develop localized initiatives that align with national campaigns and increase foot traffic and awareness.
- Serve as the main point of contact for local inquiries, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities.
- Provide GMs with marketing materials, creative assets, and strategic recommendations tailored to their communities.
Operational Excellence & Communication
- Maintain strong communication between stores and the central marketing team.
- Translate campaign strategies into actionable local toolkits and execution guides.
- Anticipate roadblocks, propose solutions, and ensure all moving parts of a campaign are completed on time.
- Manage budgets and assist with vendor coordination for local activations or materials.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in marketing management, local marketing, or retail/experiential marketing.
- Proven ability to manage marketing calendars, channel plans, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
- Deep understanding of core marketing channels and campaign planning - in particular how to leverage owned and earned successfully.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills- able to juggle multiple priorities and “land the plane.”
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining tight coordination with distributed teams.
- Experience working with design teams or creative agencies is a plus.
- Experience with Canva is a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel to store locations for meetings, filming, and events.
