## Key Role Overview

As a Consultant in the Federal Health Advisory practice, you will support public health and federal clients through strategy, organizational transformation, and operations improvement from analysis through implementation. The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, development of client deliverables (reports, process documentation, and presentations), and collaboration with clients and internal teams while offering professional growth opportunities within the firm.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical team member on management consulting projects across the project lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, solution development, implementation, and closeout; projects may include organizational development, strategic planning, process improvement, risk management, change management, and direct mission support to federal health clients.
  • Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to collect qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., interviews, focus groups, surveys, document and dataset review) and analyze it to develop actionable insights that support client decision-making.
  • Support the end-to-end development of client work products and presentations such as root cause and gap analyses, findings and recommendation reports, requirements documents, process flows, standard operating procedures, strategic plans, strategic communications, and reporting dashboards.
  • Prepare and present well-organized, effective reports and presentations to clients and internal executives and support day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders.
  • Build and sustain meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Understand and leverage firm capabilities, solutions, and methodologies, and support internal and business development initiatives including communities of practice and proposal efforts.

## Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of professional experience in consulting, strategy, organizational transformation, organizational development, process improvement, workforce strategy, change management, communications, monitoring and evaluation, or emergency response and preparedness.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data and translate findings into recommendations and client deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels and to develop clear, impactful presentation materials.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-motivated and outcomes-oriented.

## Preferred Qualifications

  • Change management, process improvement, or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt or CAPM).
  • Experience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Experience developing new and redesigning existing processes to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power. Point).
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, research industry/technical matters, and use problem-solving skills to achieve outcomes.
