Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- The Manager, Global Ford Racing Motorsport Communications, will be responsible for the storytelling and communications of Ford’s global communications for all of our racing activities including, but not limited to
- Ford’s return to F1 in 2026 with Oracle Red Bull Racing and VCARB
- Ford’s Sports Car racing with Mustang including WEC, IMSA, Hypercar, NASCAR, Australian Supercars, GT3, GT4 and Dark Horse R
- Ford’s off-road racing programs including Dakar, Baja 1,000 and more
- Ford Racing demonstrators’ programs such as SuperVan and SuperTruck
- The role will include working with and managing Ford’s Agency partner for Motorsports, Campbell Communications as well as our Hypercar and F1 comms execs in the UK
- The role will report directly to Communications but will interface on a daily basis with the Ford Racing organization
- This role will collaborate and work hand in hand with the Ford Racing Motorsports global marketing managers, engaging with motorsport as well as non-motorsport media, mining for new stories to tell around our motorsport business priorities and monitoring the competitive landscape.
- The role will also include development of strategic plans for the future of Ford Racing Communications and working with agency partners to deliver on these plans.
- Understandthe media landscape – automotive, motorsports and consumer / lifestyle media with strong media relations
- Use data to inform decision making – working with marketing, agencies and CGI teams to assist us in making data-based decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders from across the enterprise including Marketing, PD, Finance, Purchasing and leadership
- Develop a deep understanding of social media including the role of influencers and content creators
- Continuous personal development of functional competencies and leadership agilities
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject matter (Comms, Marketing, Business or equivalent education)
- 5-7+ years of communications experience or equivalent experience
- Be available to work weekends and travel within the US and beyond as required by the role.

- Have a focus on delivering to the strategy with a focus on storytelling that ladders up to our business priorities
- Have an ability to always focus on the bigger picture of how what we do ladders up to the motorsport and broader company objectives – be results driven.
- Have a focus on all key stakeholders including internal (leadership, employees, dealers) and external (traditional media, social media, influencers etc.)
- Possess excellent abilities in key office tools such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Have a passion and desire to travel and be open to working weekends to attend races in the US and beyond

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
