Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, advertising, marketing, English, business, or related field of study;
Computer science majors with strong writing, editing, and graphic design skills will be considered;
Two or more years of writing for public relations, marketing, advertising or related field preferred;
Two or more years of web content development and design responsibilities, and two or more years of experience in a communications, public relations, marketing or advertising environment preferred (agency, corporate, or institutional).

Knowledge and Skills

Web Marketing Skills;
Demonstrate a working knowledge of successfully communicating messages to target audience and possess experience in developing text for web pages.

Technical Skills

Minimum of basic knowledge of Mac and/or PC computers;
Ability to work with a digital camera;
Experience with photo editing tools (preferably Photoshop);
Familiarity with MS Word and other word processing tools;
Minimum of basic Internet/e-commerce knowledge;
Understanding of HTML, CSS and other programming languages;
Experience in WordPress is preferred but not required
