  • *Role**

As a Sales & Customer Service Representative you will work with customers at our Retail Location in Cumberland and also assist the E-Commerce Customer Service Team prioritizing the customer experience above all else.

  • *Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
  • Open and/or close the premises adhering to an opening/closing checklist
  • Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product by providing the best service and attention to all consumers.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about the various products and processes and be available to operate a register for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor, perform cleaning duties, and build visual displays when necessary.
  • Process warranty and service requests.
  • Serve as a product knowledge resource for consumers and entry level associates. Educational opportunities will be provided to develop advanced level or specialized knowledge about Western Bike Company products and services including but not limited to: NOBL Wheels, Light Bicycle, Chris King, Industry Nine, Maxxis, Vittoria, Ride Wrap, Sapim Spokes, BERD Spokes, Onyx Racing Products
  • Develop positive relationships and work environment with consumers and teammates
  • Other duties as required
  • *Minimum Qualifications**
  • Able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and through various forms of digital communication
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service
  • One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
  • Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which include days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, based on store/company needs. Weekend availability is required.
  • Passionate & knowledgeable about cycling and related products
  • *Wage**:Your starting wage for the role of Sales & Customer Service Representative will be $20.00/hr paid out as salary ($41,600 annually).
  • *Reviews**: An initial review will be conducted six months after your start date and on an annual basis thereafter. Salary increases are available and will be based on your personal development and performance. The current salary cap on the customer service position is $45,760, annually but as discussed, there is plenty of opportunity for growth and advancement for folks that take on more responsibility within the business.
  • *Getting Started**: ASAP
  • *Paid Time Off**: Will start at two weeks per year (10 paid days), plus 5 paid sick days (after 90 days).
  • *Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 40 per week
