Marketing Coordinator, Part-Time, Remote (Toronto, ON, Canada)

MARKETING COORDINATOR

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the marketing and business development team with developing and implementing various productive B2B marketing initiatives and campaigns to market services. You will liaise with managers, directors, executives, and the marketing team to support our existing corporate and sales and marketing goals. Your excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing projects will play an integral part in the execution of our plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support where required with client RFP response and coordination to support business development team.
  • Monitor, track and evolve brand and service messaging across several mediums to ensure consistency and alignment with overall business and marketing strategies.
  • Support and oversee the creation and updating of both internal and external communications, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Become a brand ambassador by understanding key initiatives with branding guidelines and being comfortable having discussions about brand alignment with sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Support new product and/or service go-to market strategies and launches.
  • Enhance ClaimsPro’s digital and social media presence; support social media initiatives with regular content pieces, and articles to inform audiences.
  • Prepare web/social media marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Update and optimize company pages to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
  • Continuously improve both web and social media content based on insights, marketing and business development objectives while utilizing analytics reports.
  • Support planning and coordinating participation at tradeshows and external events, including negotiating with promotional product vendors.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree in marketing, communications, public relations (or equivalent)
  • Solid 3-5-year track record of success executing marketing campaigns using various channels.
  • Strong relationship management skills, always communicating with stakeholders.
  • The ability to balance tactical requests while not losing pace on major projects.
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking individual with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent copywriting skills - ability to rework technical text for a broader audience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of marketing.
  • A service oriented individual who easily instills confidence, can be persuasive and creates strong relationships.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excellent Word (creation of templates), Excel, PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance industries an asset.
