We are now seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and performance across the Group.
The Role
As Head of Marketing, you will own the Group-wide marketing strategy and be accountable for marketing’s contribution to growth. This is a senior, commercially focused leadership role with responsibility for setting direction, building capability, and delivering measurable impact across brand, demand, and revenue.
You will lead and develop a blended in-house and external team, define priorities across multiple businesses, and ensure marketing is tightly aligned with Group objectives. This role reports into senior leadership and works closely with Sales, Operations, and Product.
This is not a campaign-delivery role. We are looking for someone who can decide what matters, where to invest, and how marketing drives growth.
Requirements
Strategy and leadership
- Define and own the Group marketing strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
- Apply our clear positioning and messaging across Zendgroup and its portfolio businesses.
- Translate Group objectives into focused marketing plans with clear commercial outcomes.
- Act as a senior marketing voice within the leadership team.
Growth and commercial impact
- Own marketing KPIs linked to pipeline, revenue, customer acquisition, and brand growth.
- Partner with Sales team to drive demand generation, lead quality, and conversion.
- Decide where to invest (channels, content, markets, tools) to maximise return.
- Ensure marketing activity supports both short-term performance and long-term brand building.
Team and capability
- Lead and develop a blended team of in-house marketers, freelancers, and specialist agencies.
- Design the right team structure and capabilities as the Group grows.
- Continue to build on the high-performing content and campaign engine we’ve put in place that serves our multiple Group businesses as they grow.
- Set high standards for processes and ways of working across marketing.
Brand and communications
- Own brand consistency, tone of voice, and quality across all touchpoints.
- Oversee content strategy, campaigns, PR, events, and communications.
- Ensure marketing output reflects the ambition and credibility of the Group.
Performance and governance
- Own and manage marketing budgets at Group level.
- Track performance, ROI, and effectiveness across channels and businesses.
- Report clearly on results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Continuously improve through testing, learning, and optimisation.
About You
We are looking for a senior marketer who combines strategic thinking with commercial instinct and strong leadership.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role (Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager, or equivalent).
- Experience operating in complex, multi-brand or B2B / eCommerce environments.
- Strong understanding of brand, demand generation, and performance marketing.
- Track record of owning strategy and delivering growth outcomes.
- Experience building and leading teams, agencies, and partners.
- Commercially astute, confident working with revenue targets and leadership teams.
- Comfortable making prioritisation decisions in fast-moving environments.
- Skilled at reporting on metrics, data, and insights (preferably with Hubspot experience).
