Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant is a part-time role (~20 hours weekly) that supports day-to-day marketing execution and organization, reporting to the Marketing Manager. This position is a blend of creative, hands-on work and tactical administrative support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping both digital and physical marketing materials accurate, organized, and up to date.
In this role, you will support social media activity, assist with product photography using digital cameras, and help maintain an organized and up-to-date library of marketing assets. You will also play a key role in tracking details, maintaining digital systems, and ensuring physical marketing materials are accurate when received and ready for use. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with them to support day-to-day marketing execution, keep projects moving forward, and ensure details are handled consistently and accurately.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the shared Marketing inbox, ensuring vendor, advertising, and internal communications are organized and addressed. Flag urgent items, summarize requests for the Marketing Manager, and escalate items as needed
- Plan, draft, schedule, and publish social media posts under the direction of the Marketing Manager, and manage basic engagement across platforms
- Assist with product photography and video capture under the direction of the Marketing Manager, including setup, capture, uploading, and organization of assets
- Support outreach to customers and internal Sales teams to collect photo and video assets, including recent installation content
- Maintain organized marketing files, folders, and systems. Upload, organize, and maintain a clean, searchable asset library for photos, videos, and creative materials
- Support trade show coordination by maintaining trackers, checklists, timelines, and requirements, including permits, shipments, and vendor coordination
- Assist with preparing materials that are shipped to trade shows in crates. Receive the crates and materials returned from trade shows, verify all items are accounted for, perform inventory checks, and restock marketing materials to prepare for the next show
- Receive, organize, and quality-check physical marketing collateral delivered to the office, ensuring accuracy and distribution to the appropriate teams
- Track marketing deliverables, deadlines, quotes, and advertising schedules using organization and project management tools (e.g., Trello or similar), ensuring timely follow-up and execution
- Support product launches with coordination, tracking, and administrative tasks
- Track and organize marketing requests from internal teams, partnering with the Marketing Manager to prioritize work and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Provide general administrative support to keep day-to-day marketing operations running smoothly

You are looking for a part-time role that fits your life right now. You may be currently enrolled in a college-level marketing program, have recently graduated with a marketing degree, or have a few years of marketing experience and prefer a flexible part-time schedule.
Role Requirements
- 2 years of marketing experience or current/previous enrollment in a college-level marketing program
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and dependable; able to track multiple deadlines, tasks, and deliverables with strong follow-through
- Skilled in file organization and maintaining systems for marketing assets (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive)
- Experienced in product photography, including using digital cameras and managing image files
- Basic experience with social media content creation and posting across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite or similar)
- Proficiency with project or task management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana or similar)
- Proficiency with Canva for simple design tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Workspace (Docs, Excel, OneDrive)
- Proactive, clear, and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to solve problems independently and escalate when appropriate
- Interest in outdoor living, design, or visual storytelling is a plus
Job Type:Part-time
Compensation: $22.00-$25.00 per Hour + Discretionary Annual Bonus
Schedule: This is a part-time, in-person position averaging approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule will be agreed upon in advance and may be flexible based on availability and business needs. Warming Trends operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the Marketing Assistant’s schedule must fall within these standard business hours.
