Fractional CFO / Elite E-commerce Bookkeeper (Finaloop Required)

Context: We are a fast-growing, U.S.-based e-commerce supplement brand with a subscription-heavy product. The majority of our revenue is generated through paid social media marketing (primarily Meta). As we scale, it’s critical that we have tight financial visibility, strong cost control, and clear, actionable reporting to support rapid growth and profitability.

I’m looking to bring on a very experienced fractional CFO–style bookkeeper who specializes in e-commerce / Shopify brands. This is not a traditional bookkeeping role — I need someone who can own the numbers, keep them current, and hold me accountable to actually using them.

What I need

• Deep, hands-on experience with Shopify e-commerce brands
• Strong experience with Finaloop (required — not willing to train from scratch)
• Full ownership of bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Weekly financial reports that are clear, actionable, and easy to digest
• Ongoing analysis of expenses to identify unnecessary costs and inefficiencies
• Help me truly understand:
• Profitability
• Cash flow
• Ad spend efficiency
• Subscription and software bloat
• Fulfillment and operational costs

Right now, I move fast and get busy — which means the books don’t always get the attention they deserve. I’m specifically looking for someone who will force financial discipline, keep everything up to date, and make sure I always know exactly where the business stands.

What I’m looking for

• Extensive experience with Shopify + e-commerce financials
• Proven track record using Finaloop
• Ability to think like an operator, not just a bookkeeper
• Comfortable pushing back, flagging issues, and asking the hard questions
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed

Nice to have

• Experience acting as a fractional CFO for founder-led e-commerce brands
• Forecasting, cash planning, and margin analysis
• Helping founders maximize profit, not just track it
