what we are looking for?
Coordinator, Field Marketing
Reporting to the Manager, Field Marketing, this role is responsible for planning and executing programming and activations related to the National Bank Open presented by Rogers and other Team Canada events, with a strong focus on building engaging and memorable fan experiences.
Key Responsibilities
National Bank Open
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site programming and fan activations in collaboration with the marketing, operations, and graphic studio teams;
- Coordinate on-site signage and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with sponsor, food and beverage, and internal stakeholder requirements across both Toronto and Montreal tournaments;
- Manage event-day operations, including run-of-show documents, site maps, contingency planning, centre court ceremonies, and overall show execution;
- Oversee on-site setup, event flow, troubleshooting, and teardown to ensure a seamless fan experience;
- Coordinate centre court promotional assets and activations in collaboration with corporate sponsorship and development teams;
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance fan engagement and support Family Weekend and TennisFest Weekend programming;
- Support Promotions Committee volunteers and assist with cross-departmental coordination leading up to and during the tournament.
Billie Jean King Cup & Davis Cup Events
- Act as the marketing lead for home ties, including signage, promotional materials, on-site activations, on-court programming, merchandise, and booster programs;
- Coordinate printed signage needs for Team Canada away ties, including pep rallies, press conferences, and in-stadium assets when required;
- Manage inventory and distribution of Booster Program assets, including pep rally decorations, noisemakers, and supporter accessories as needed.
Other
- Provide day-to-day administrative support related to marketing and promotions initiatives;
- Analyze and consolidate event results to produce visually compelling, data-driven post-event reports and presentations;
- Support the Marketing Coordinator with fulfillment of e-commerce store orders as required.
WHO YOU ARE
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Event Marketing, Project Management, or a related field;
- 2–3 years of experience in a marketing and/or event management role;
- Knowledge of the sports and events industry is an asset;
- Creative mindset paired with strong operational and execution capabilities;
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously;
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple requests simultaneously while identifying priorities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required;
- Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Miro, or Figma is an asset;
- French is an asset;
- Willingness to work long hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required for events.
