Role Summary
The Manager of Marketing Project Coordination will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and completion of comprehensive corporate communications and property marketing projects across various platforms. This multifaceted role will involve developing global project management strategies, enhancing team effectiveness, and driving innovation in marketing initiatives, including social media, graphic design, B2B campaigns, and digital content.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and strategic thinking capabilities, enabling them to optimize processes and enhance team productivity, visibility, and communication. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful project implementation.
This position reports to the Director of Creative & Brand Services and is based in the office, requiring attendance five days a week.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Director of Brand and Creative Services in the strategic planning and execution of all B2B and B2C projects to align with organizational objectives.
- Establish, manage, and enhance workflows for all creative communications and marketing projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Statements of Work and maintaining transparent stakeholder communication.
- Lead and mentor team members, assigning projects based on individual strengths and workload to foster professional development.
- Manage and prioritize communication and marketing requests, ensuring all elements align with the brand's strategic vision.
- Innovate and streamline project management tools and processes, acting as a subject matter expert for Asana and other relevant platforms.
- Facilitate meetings (kick-off, status, retrospective), tracking issues and ensuring projects meet expectations and deadlines while providing strategic insights.
- Serve as the primary communication conduit with stakeholders, clarifying project details and effectively communicating timelines.
- Oversee and approve content review of marketing materials, maintaining brand tone and high standards in syntax and grammar.
- Manage the company’s digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring files are organized, current, and accessible to relevant teams.
- Lead the hiring and development of freelancers for special projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Drive B2B campaigns, including LinkedIn special projects and digital leasing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Coordinate the production and fulfillment of branded gifts, including welcome kits for new hires, business cards, and promotional items for tenant and employee engagement.
- Take on additional responsibilities and lead special projects as needed, providing strategic insights and leadership to drive organizational success.
Qualifications and Technical Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing or communications with a proven record of leadership and innovation, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years of senior-level marketing project management experience with expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
Required Skills
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations with strong follow-through.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management skills to maintain systems, assets, and schedules.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Basic skills in maintaining digital platforms, such as uploading content to an intranet or digital asset management system.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners across various departments.
- Advanced experience with project management software (Asana preferred).
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Apple MAC computers and software.
- Ability to work independently while providing strategic leadership.
- Strong literacy skills, including spelling and grammar proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant marketing experience in commercial real estate management.
- PMP/Agile Certification or advanced project management training.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software.
Benefits & Compensation
Benefits: We offer a variety of competitive benefits, including health insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
Base Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000, reflecting the anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including location and experience.
The additional total direct compensation and benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans or policies in effect.
