Marketing Intern/Community Lead - Gate Parkway

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing **Marketing Intern / Community Lead** to be the face of our brand in the local community. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in social settings, loves events, and is passionate about building genuine relationships. You’ll play a key role in growing brand awareness by planning, executing, and representing us at community events and activations. This position requires availability outside of traditional business hours, including nights and weekends, as many events take place during those times.
Community & Event Planning
- Attend and represent the brand at all community events, pop-ups, partnerships, and activations
- Table at events, engage with attendees, answer questions, and promote memberships, classes, and offerings
- Serve as the on-site brand ambassador—friendly, professional, and high-energy
- Collaborate with local vendors, businesses, and partners to create engaging community events
- Assist with event planning logistics including timelines, materials, and coordination
- Set up and break down event spaces (signage, tables, swag, displays, etc.)
- Ensure each event reflects brand standards and delivers an elevated experience
Vendor & Partner Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and community partners
- Coordinate event details such as timing, setup needs, and shared promotions
- Support cross-promotional efforts before, during, and after events
Marketing Support
- Capture content at events (photos/videos) for social media and marketing use
- Assist with promoting events through social media, email, and in-studio marketing
- Provide post-event feedback and insights to help improve future activations
Requirements
- Must be available to work **daytime, evenings, and weekends**
- Comfortable attending and working events independently
- Outgoing, personable, and confident speaking with new people
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple events and timelines
- Reliable transportation to attend local events
- Ability to lift and carry light event materials (tables, signage, swag)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field
- Experience with events, brand ambassadorships, hospitality, or community marketing
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
- Passion for wellness, fitness, and community-driven brands
