Healthcare Industry –Health Care Provider Education - Virtual Event Communications and Marketing

Targeted Audience Advertising for Medical Education. Planning and Execution of the following: Email Marketing using HubSpot, Digital Advertising, Copywriting, Social Media Engagement, and Website Event Registration.

Due to growth, we seek a Digital Marketing Manager who will focus on promoting and driving HCP engagement and attendance in our medical education on-demand programs by developing polished and creative content for both inbound and outbound marketing campaigns. This is NOT a position where you exhibit at a trade show for lead generation.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at developing and executing email and digital marketing plans and budgets, and able to perform data analysis to demonstrate return on marketing investment. We’re looking for a digital advertiser capable of crafting copy for various distribution channels to new and existing target audiences within various therapeutic specialties.

Omnichannel marketing experience (digital campaigns, email, web, social) within a matrixed environment is desirable. The candidate will work with partners across the marketing team who are experts in digital advertising, social media marketing, and CRM.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop marketing campaigns that drive attendance and continuing education credits for the event portfolio.
  • Create compelling marketing copy targeted to various healthcare segments, for delivery through multiple channels (digital, email, video, social, etc.)
  • Develop automated workflows via email and digital tactics.
  • Work with internal teams to identify and build target lists for various promotions.
  • Manage the execution of marketing communications tactics, including emails, digital campaigns, online ads, and websites, to ensure they accurately reflect event branding, positioning, and key messaging.
  • Regularly analyze and report on marketing campaign performance, including updating senior management.
  • Manage budgets and track project costs throughout a campaign to ensure numbers stay within budget and maintain proactive communication.
  • Engage audiences and promote program awareness using an omnichannel approach.
  • Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, art, accreditation, and education.
  • Utilize our project management system (HIVE) to manage both inbound and outbound marketing communication efforts.
  • Other assignments as required by management

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing preferred or related field).
  • 2-3 years of experience in integrated marketing.
  • Healthcare and/or agency experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools, i.e., HubSpot.
  • Solid understanding of essential marketing elements (branding, planning, messaging development, web, social, sales support, print and digital advertising, video, etc.).
  • Market analysis experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to sell ideas to management and across the organization.
  • Proven success in writing compelling marketing copy.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Superb organizational, time management, and customer service skills - you will work with everyone in our organization and their individual styles.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to adapt or modify campaign tactics.
  • Verifiable and consistent work history.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/database experience (preferred).
  • Valid DL (for travel to and from both offices as necessary by management).
  • Travel required as directed by management.
