Our client is hiring an Indirect Tax Transformation Lead to modernise and scale their indirect tax capabilities across the US. Joining a fast-growing, high-energy startup supporting some of the most recognisable tech brands, you’ll drive adoption of cutting-edge tax technology and help shape a brand-new function. This is a high-visibility role with real influence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead customer onboarding, implementation, and adoption of indirect tax technology.
• Recommend best-practice strategies to maximise usage, outcomes, and value delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors across enterprise clients.
• Identify growth opportunities through upsell and cross-sell pathways.
• Partner with product teams to relay customer insights and shape feature enhancements.

About You

• 5+ years in indirect tax, process improvement, or tax operations within complex organisations.
• Strong VAT and/or Sales & Use Tax knowledge, plus experience with tax technology.
• Skilled communicator able to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive results across cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, scale-ups, or high-growth tech.

Based in New York (hybrid).
