As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a client's primarily for all digital initiatives. This includes developing strategy and managing the execution of social, search and video marketing campaigns based on the client's business objectives. Within this role, you will gain a valuable foundation for a career in digital media and grow both the team’s and the client’s digital capabilities.

Playing an integral part of the digital marketing strategy, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between paid, owned and earned platforms and demonstrating the ROI across all activities in this fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • *Key Accountabilities**:

Create, manage and execute strategic digital marketing plans that meet client goals (search, social, display, ecommerce)

Define, create and manage digital campaigns on platforms

Define a campaign and audience strategy and deliverables plan that exceeds client expectations

Create, presents and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tactics

Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes

Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications

Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients

Monitor, track, evaluate, report and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment

Deliver monthly client reports, verify data accuracy, provide analysis and keep clients updated on account status

Scope and develop new business with companies looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing

Build a solid partnership with your account’s media planners and the client services team, balancing each others expertise and using it to find and develop practical ideas for future media growth, channel expansions or channel optimization.

Build on an existing level of digital expertise covering ecommerce, search, social and display/video, and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency

Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications with the assistance of internal resources

Coach and develop the team

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital marketing as well as consumer behaviour to recommend improvements to accounts

Aid in creation of new business presentations, POVs, best practices and key process documentation

  • *Skills and Behaviour**:

You’re a true cross channel marketer, with hands-on experience planning and buying across multiple platforms such as Google, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest, as well as dealing with programmatic trade desks.

Account/client management skills and complex paid/digital/campaigns; multi-level sales/selling into accounts

Have a solid record in growing account scale and success, delivering great customer experiences through your working relationships on the client side

Fully bilingual, French and English, with excellent verbal and written skills; exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and high level of attention to detail

Desire to manage and mentor junior members of a team

Demonstrate the ability to use paid media strategy to complement owned and earned media campaigns and meet business objectives.

Prior experience in an agency environment highly desired, who have experience in handling media partner representatives and participating on digital media publisher relationships

Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face in a fast-paced environment

Having a technical and analytical mindset

Experience using all digital biddable platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube), - (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Amazon Marketing)

Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics)

High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Facebook and Google Certification is an asset
