Doeren Mayhew is looking for an AI Transformation Leader who is not only skilled in developing AI solutions but is also dedicated to guiding others in adopting these technologies throughout the firm. This collaborative, in-office position involves working directly with employees, teams, and leadership to deploy practical AI tools, streamline operations, and foster meaningful adoption of AI across every service line.
This role combines technical expertise with training, communication, and business partnership responsibilities. The selected individual will play a crucial part in advancing Doeren Mayhew’s AI strategy, ensuring that all teams can safely, effectively, and confidently utilize AI technologies. Full onsite presence is required to provide hands-on training, facilitate in-person collaboration, assist with onboarding, and maintain day-to-day engagement with staff. This position is available at any of our Doeren Mayhew Offices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint daily tasks, workflows, and business processes that can be enhanced, automated, or streamlined using AI.
- Design and maintain custom GPTs to improve internal workflows and support client-facing deliverables.
- Develop AI-enabled automations and integrations for enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and internal systems.
- Translate business needs into practical, user-friendly AI solutions that boost efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Conduct in-person training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to educate staff on ChatGPT Enterprise and custom GPT tools.
- Create internal documentation, best practice guides, onboarding materials, and quick-reference resources.
- Administer and optimize the ChatGPT Enterprise environment, including user management, permissions, governance controls, and data policies.
- Monitor usage, track adoption metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement standards for secure use, data governance, and compliance with firm policies.
- Support and administer SharePoint Online, including site structure, permissions, workflows, metadata, and content governance.
- Integrate AI capabilities into SharePoint to improve search, knowledge management, and document automation.
- Meet regularly with department leaders to identify inefficiencies, process bottlenecks, and opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
- Explore and evaluate additional AI tools and platforms—such as Microsoft Copilot (including Copilot for Excel), Blue J, and Thomson Reuters CoCounsel—to support business needs and firm initiatives.
- Track the overall success, engagement, and ROI of AI initiatives by collecting feedback, measuring performance improvements, and reporting results to leadership.
- Ensure AI tools and workflows comply with data privacy requirements and security best practices.
- Support internal reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives related to AI tools and data usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, IT system administration, business automation, or AI/ML tools.
- Experience with SharePoint Online administration strongly preferred.
- Experience with OpenAI technologies or generative AI platforms preferred; a strong interest in AI adoption is essential.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 integrations, or Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Teams, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; comfortable working in person with teams across all departments.
- Highly curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about emerging technologies.
- Ability to analyze business processes and deliver practical, actionable AI solutions.
- Must be within commutable distance to one of the Doeren Mayhew locations.
