POSITION SUMMARY

CVS Health is seeking a highly strategic and forward-thinking Digital Strategy Manager who has planning management and product vision experience to join our team. This Manager will work as an individual contributor, responsible for helping define and evangelize the long-term vision for our product portfolio. The Digital Strategy Manager will be the chief storyteller for "what we’ve accomplished, where we are going and why," translating market insights and business goals into a compelling, multi-year product strategy and roadmap.

In this capacity this manager will operate at a higher altitude, ensuring all products are aligned with a unified, outcome driven vision. Additional responsibilities will also include being a key partner to senior leadership, product teams, design teams and engineering, providing the strategic context that empowers teams to move quickly and be confident in long term value of the work they do every day.

The incumbent will execute on the activities below

Co-Develop Product Vision & Roadmap (60%)

  • Conduct continuous competitive analysis, and technology trend assessments to identify new opportunities, potential threats, and strategic inflection points.
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data (from user research, market reports, sales feedback, digital team analytics etc.) into actionable strategic insights.
  • Craft, refine, and champion a clear, compelling, and data-driven long-term product vision, ensuring the vision aligns with the overall DDAT mission and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the translation of the product vision into high-level, multi-year strategic product roadmap, focusing on major themes, outcomes, and target markets rather than a feature backlog.
  • Create and maintain key business artifacts (e.g. monthly product reviews, objective and goals, vision documents, storyboards, strategic narratives)

Communication & Cross Team Collaboration (20%)

  • Act as the primary evangelist for the product vision, communicating it with passion and clarity to all levels of the organization
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Business leaders to ensure strategic alignment and buy-in.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic workshops, planning sessions, and vision presentations.

Defining & Tracking Success (20%)

  • Partner with leadership to define objectives, key business outcomes and metrics (OKRs) that will measure the success of the product strategy.
  • Track progress against these strategic goals and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Help partner with teams to drive colleague engagement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably within a corporate or product strategy role
  • 3+ year of experience as a proven strategist which entails having demonstrable experience developing and executing a successful vision and long-term strategy for a product or business unit
  • At least 2+ years crafting compelling narratives and influencing and inspiring diverse audiences, from engineers to executives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Retail or Front store domain experience
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a highly cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
  • World-class written, verbal, and presentation skills

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is

$66,330.00 - $159,120.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
