Social Media and Content Manager (Part-Time, In-Office – Vienna, VA)

Congressional Plastic Surgery is seeking a creative and organized Part-Time Social and Content Media Manager to join our team in Vienna, VA. This role is perfect for someone passionate about content creation, video storytelling, and growing a premium medical aesthetics brand through engaging social platforms.

The ideal candidate will work 20 hours per week in-office, coordinating content shoots and producing high-performing video and photo content—especially for Instagram Reels and TikTok. You’ll collaborate closely with our surgical and clinical staff to showcase patient journeys, provider expertise, and behind-the-scenes moments in a way that feels authentic, aspirational, and brand-aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with CPS brand strategy and seasonal initiatives
  • Capture and curate content during procedures, consultations, and office life (with consent)
  • Monitor social trends and adapt creative strategies to increase reach and engagement
  • Write captions that are compelling, educational, and on-brand
  • Schedule content for daily or weekly publishing across social platforms
  • Coordinate shoot times with medical staff to optimize workflow and minimize disruption
  • Track content performance and share regular insights on what’s working

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience managing social media for a brand or public figure (aesthetic or medical setting a plus)
  • Strong grasp of Instagram, TikTok, and video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.)
  • Confident shooting and directing content in a live environment
  • Skilled in organizing projects, meeting deadlines, and communicating clearly
  • Creative eye for aesthetics, lighting, and composition
  • Comfortable working in a clinical setting

Position Details

  • Location: In-office, Vienna, VA (not a remote position)
  • Hours: 20 hours/week with flexibility based on filming opportunities; potential to grow into full-time within one year
  • Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience
