About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creatively minded project manager to join our collaborative marketing team.

The Marketing Project Manager plays a vital role in coordinating and advancing the work of the Mandel JCC marketing team. This position ensures all marketing initiatives are well-organized, on schedule, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Marketing Project Manager oversees timelines, task management, and interdepartmental communication across all marketing projects and campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management and marketing operations, excellent organizational skills, creative judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams. The candidate should possess a keen eye for design, visual consistency, and creative quality across marketing materials and digital platforms, as well as basic understanding of social media, digital marketing platforms, website content strategy, user experience, and content maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee day-to-day project management for all marketing initiatives, including campaigns, creative requests, digital content, and internal communications
  • Use Monday.com to build and manage workflows, track timelines, and maintain accountability across the marketing team and internal departments
  • Act as a key support to the Senior Director of Marketing by providing regular updates, managing project priorities, and keeping deadlines and communications on track.
  • Coordinate project requests from internal departments in collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing
  • Maintain a master marketing calendar and coordinate timelines, deadlines, and deliverables across campaigns, events, and content platforms
  • Manage organizational email newsletters, social media calendars, in-house digital displays, and the Reach TV platform, ensuring timely, visually consistent messaging across all channels
  • Update the website events calendar and support website content strategy and user experience initiatives
  • Coordinate video content shoots and the production of various marketing assets, ensuring brand consistency and quality
  • Assist in tracking marketing metrics and reporting insights to inform future campaigns
  • Support implementation of broader marketing strategies by coordinating projects that align with organizational goals
  • Assist in coordinating external vendors and freelancers, ensuring projects remain on scope and budget
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and other JCC departments to streamline communication and ensure consistent messaging
  • Help maintain file organization, creative asset tracking, and operational documentation for the marketing department
  • Participate in marketing planning meetings and contribute to improving processes and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain digital and social platform literacy to support operational execution of marketing initiatives
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for marketing projects, ensuring timely follow-up on project-related tasks
  • Other job duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate - Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Basecamp or Trello
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging copy for emails, calendars, and internal updates
  • Working knowledge of marketing processes, campaign coordination, and creative production workflows
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Sprout Social, or similar tools is preferred. Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft applications is preferred as well.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
  • On-site work required at the Mandel JCC in Beachwood, OH
