About the Role

Join our team as a Director of Business Transformation and Automation within the Intelligent Operations and Automation (IOA) sector. We are on the lookout for a talented Service Line Specialist with a robust background that can drive growth and innovation in our BPO/Digital Operations segment.

In this exciting role, you will leverage your 15-25 years of experience in consultative sales, particularly in SaaS, online, and platform-based businesses. This dynamic position requires a networked professional who thrives in the technology and digital native industry, adept at navigating a fast-paced ecosystem.

While you'll maintain existing client relationships, you will also focus significantly on acquiring new business and expanding our market presence, making it essential to close large multi-million dollar deals amidst complex stakeholder environments.

Work Model

We embrace a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility where possible. This role necessitates in-person work three days per week at the Client/Cognizant site located mainly in the Bay Area, California, or Washington. In this role, you will

  • Drive portfolio growth and strategy development while meeting performance metrics.
  • Provide thought leadership and lead conversations at various organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with industry bodies and analysts to align strategic priorities with service offerings.
  • Foster positive relationships with senior client executives for mutual success.
  • Develop and implement outstanding client propositions in partnership with Solutions, Delivery, Process Excellence, and Automation teams.
  • Oversee account operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Ensure accountability for measurable revenue/profit growth within set timelines.

What you need to have

  • In-depth knowledge of the technology industry, especially large tech platforms.
  • Proven experience managing annual revenue exceeding $20 million and handling total contract value (TCV) of approximately $10-30 million.
  • Extensive operational advisory experience regarding strategic priorities, location strategies, and engagement model transformations.
  • Established relationships with senior leaders within the technology sector, especially within Alphabet group companies.
  • Exposure across service domains, including Enterprise services, Digital customer experience, ML operations, and Content services.
  • A minimum of 15-25 years of industry experience, particularly in a Digital native technical landscape for at least the last 10 years.
  • Understanding of matrix structures in global markets.
  • Strong analytical and consultative selling skills.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $198,000 to $218,000, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, influenced by performance and subject to applicable terms.
