Job Overview
The Marketing Coordinator supports Cognitive Research Corporation’s marketing and communications functions across content development, internal communications, conference logistics, digital marketing, and brand management. This role focuses on organization, coordination, and execution of day to day marketing activities that strengthen CRC’s brand and support operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast paced environment. The position has a required in office presence in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Support internal communications by drafting, formatting, and organizing company announcements, updates, and employee branding materials.
- Maintain employee facing assets, including email signatures, business cards, bios, headshots, and spotlight content and ensure documentation is organized and current.
- Assist with marketing content by gathering information, drafting copy, proofreading, preparing simple visuals, and coordinating review cycles for blogs, LinkedIn posts, case studies, graphics, and related materials.
- Support email marketing by preparing content, assisting with segmentation, coordinating testing steps, and maintaining contact lists and campaign information.
- Contribute to social media efforts by drafting posts, preparing visuals, maintaining content logs, and compiling engagement data for reporting.
- Assist with conference and event coordination including registrations, hotel bookings, packing and shipping materials, maintaining promotional inventory, tracking expenses, and supporting onsite needs as assigned.
- Help maintain marketing resources including shared folders, templates, brand assets, calendars, and project logs and support task tracking across the team.
- Provide support for website and intranet updates by organizing content, preparing materials for review, and coordinating changes with internal teams or external partners.
- Collect, track, and organize marketing metrics such as website engagement, email performance, social interactions, and conference activity and prepare summary reports as needed.
- Assist with research and monitoring of competitor activity, industry trends, and conference developments to support planning.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors by gathering information, confirming details, and helping maintain schedules and deliverables.
- Provide general administrative and project coordination assistance to the Marketing Director and support other marketing needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
- Ability to work on-site in St. Petersburg, FL
This position requires the ability to travel <10%.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
