Boldyn Networks US Operations LLC, New York, NY seeks Principal Radio Access Network (RAN) Architect - Utilize understanding of the company’s proprietary telecommunications technology, technical systems and architecture in the provision of technical expertise to Product Development, Network Engineering, and RF Engineering team members to ensure they are well informed about technical concepts, industry direction, products, technologies, use of network, and costing detail, that will help meet technical deliverables. Develop reference architectures and new products that align with the company’s long-term growth and financial targets and working with network statistics and data analytics building self- optimizing networks and automated systems. Provide technical expertise and assist the team in achieving product development for the company’s objectives. Lead technical solutions workshops with engineering teams to ensure that proposed technical solutions are attainable and properly vetted. Work cross functionally with product development teams and engineering teams to gather all important information as part of the preparation for internal/external discussions to include developing, writing and presenting concepts, solutions and products to senior level potential and existing customers. Deliver technical feedback to engineering and development teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to implementation. Work with leadership to close deals and support technical contributions and product implementation for internal and external customers. Manage the implementation of transformation strategies that respond to internal and external drivers to include working with Wireless protocols, including 3GPP LTE/5G, 802.11n/ac/ad/ay, microwave and mmWave, wireless spectrum and regulatory experience including (cellular, CBRS), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), MIMO and Wavelength. Continually identify internal improvement initiatives to achieve strategic outcomes and oversee the implementation of technical solutions and Neutral Hosted Networks and Radio Access Network Sharing. Maintain an understanding of and have responsibility for maintaining and complying with information security for the company. Maintain confidentiality of authentication details for accounts while working with OPEN-RAN network for 4G and 5G deployment. Report all information security incidents, risks, and concerns promptly. Understand, accept, and comply with responsibilities for information security. Participate in continuous information security training to prepare for and manage cyber security risks and perform technical deployment of Smart Cities.
Requires Bachelor’s (or educ. equiv.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or closely related Engineering field and two (2) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included Working with Wireless protocols, including 3GPP LTE/5G, 802.11n/ac/ad/ay, microwave and mmWave, wireless spectrum and regulatory experience including (cellular, CBRS), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), MIMO and Wavelength; Develop, write and present concepts, solutions and products to senior level potential and existing customers; Implementation of Neutral Hosted Networks and Radio Access Network Sharing; Working with network statistics and data analytics building self-optimizing networks and automated systems; Working with OPEN-RAN network for 4G and 5G deployment; and Technical deployment of Smart Cities. $125,000-$210,000/yr. 5 day, 40 hr/wk.
