Role Summary
We’re seeking a hungry, relationship-driven commission-only sales and digital marketing professional to acquire DOT and Non-DOT Drug & Alcohol Consortium accounts from trucking companies and other businesses (construction, logistics, staffing, schools, hospitality facilities, etc.). Your mission is to bring in new employer accounts that need ongoing compliance support (enrollment, random program management, collections coordination, documentation).What You’ll Sell
- DOT Drug & Alcohol Consortium enrollment + annual management (owner-operators and fleets)
- Non-DOT drug testing programs (pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion)
- Add-on services where applicable (policy support, scheduling, mobile collections, reporting coordination, drug & alcohol-free work place compliance, etc.)
Key Responsibilities Sales / Business Development
- Identify, contact, and close trucking companies and other businesses needing DOT/Non-DOT consortium management.
- Build partnerships with: trucking schools, dispatch companies, fleet managers, safety managers, HR, and owner-operators.
- Conduct consultative discovery calls and recommend the right program structure.
- Maintain a simple pipeline (leads → contacted → quoted → closed → onboarded).
Digital Marketing (Lead Generation)
- Run outbound and inbound campaigns: email, LinkedIn outreach, Facebook/IG posts, local business groups, Google Business messaging, landing pages (if provided), and direct-to-call campaigns.
- Create short content that converts: compliance tips, “what DOT requires,” “how randoms work,” “owner-operator checklist,” etc.
- Track performance metrics: leads generated, calls booked, close rate, CAC (basic).
Account Acquisition & Handoff
- Gather required onboarding info (company profile, number of drivers/employees, DOT status, contact info).
- Ensure clean handoff to operations for enrollment and program setup.
- Support renewals and upsell opportunities when appropriate.
Compensation (Commission-Only)You will be paid per closed account and on recurring revenue, based on collected payments.
Recommended Commission Structure (template)
- New DOT/Non-DOT consortium account enrollment/annual fee: 10% commission
- Monthly/recurring management (if applicable): 5% commission
- Testing revenue from your accounts (drug tests, alcohol tests, add-ons): 5% commission
- Renewals: 5% commission (example: paid at renewal collection)
- Performance tier bumps available after hitting monthly targets.
Payment Timing
- Commissions paid after client payment clears (ACH/card/invoice paid).
- Paid when commission total at least $1000 or as desired by the applicant.
What We Provide

- Basic brand assets (logo, flyers, digital content templates if available)
- Tracking sheet/CRM (even a simple Google Sheet to start)
- Operational team to onboard and manage clients after close
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account acquisition, or digital lead generation (healthcare services, compliance services, logistics, or staffing is a plus)
- Comfortable with outbound: cold calls, email outreach, networking
- Strong communication and follow-up discipline
- Ability to learn DOT vs Non-DOT basics quickly and communicate clearly
- Professionalism + compliance mindset (confidentiality, accuracy, no misleading claims)
Preferred
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA drug & alcohol testing programs, TPAs, consortiums, C/TPA workflows
- Existing network in trucking/logistics, CDL schools, fleet management communities
- Experience running local ads or LinkedIn outreach
Success Metrics (First 60–90 Days)
- Activity: 50-150new outreaches/week, 10-20 discovery calls/week
- New outreaches/week = how many new businesses contacted each week (first-touch attempts), such as:
- cold calls made
- emails sent
- LinkedIn messages/connection requests
- DMs to fleet/safety/HR managers
- networking follow-ups
- referrals requested
- Discovery calls/week = how many scheduled intro/qualification calls completed each week (10–30 min) to confirm:
- DOT vs Non-DOT needs
- number of drivers/employees
- current compliance setup / pain points
- decision-maker and timeline
- whether they’re a fit to receive a quote/proposal
- Results: 5-10 new accounts / month
- Quality: clean handoffs + low fallout/non-payment rate
