What our clients typically ask for

4–7 years’ experience in marketing, BD or account management within architecture, engineering, design or the broader built-environment sector

A track record of owning client relationships: identifying opportunities, guiding proposals and negotiating fees that balance value and profitability

Strategic copywriting and content oversight across bids, thought-leadership, social media and award submissions

Confidence liaising with directors, design teams and external partners—turning complex technical information into compelling narratives

Fluency with Adobe InDesign (or similar) for polished submission layouts, plus CRM or automation platforms to track pipelines and engagement metrics

Strong commercial acumen, deadline discipline and the people skills to mentor junior coordinators or executives
