About AQTION

AQTION is seeking a Business Development Representative to support the growth of its investor intelligence platform. AQTION is a purpose-built platform providing intuitive insights on institutional investors, including their expectations on governance and sustainability topics.

The role will be based in London, UK. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the AQTION’s offering and the needs of potential users.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor developments to help refine product positioning.
  • Conduct structured outreach to prospects with tailored and relevant messaging.
  • Schedule and lead engaging product demo calls.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while refining sales approach.
  • Manage and respond to prospect queries professionally and timely.
  • Develop marketing campaigns, prepare marketing materials and presentation for outreach and pitch meetings.
  • Represent AQTION at virtual and in-person events, conferences and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and use data to prioritise outreach.
  • Work closely with internal teams to share client insights and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
  • Proven sales experience, within a platform-based or SaaS environment, with a track-record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience conducting research to identify high-quality prospects and refine audience segmentation.

Skills and Competencies

  • Self-initiator: proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging with C-suite executives via video or email.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline while prioritizing effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in English.

Recruitment Process

  • There will likely be a large number of applications; as such, we may not be able to respond on an individual basis.
  • The recruitment process involves an initial screening questionnaire, a case study, and two interviews (one in person).
  • AQTION has adopted a hybrid work model where team members are expected to be in the office at least four days a week.
