Allied Vaughn is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Communications, Integrations, & Training Specialist to work with our client in the Automotive Industry.
Location: Remote in MI, MN, IL, TX, FL or CO
This is a full-time position, working during standard business hours, Monday-Friday.
The Digital Business Communications & Training Specialist will be responsible for becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in all applications affecting our automotive client’s service lane including proprietary programs. The Communications Specialist will assist in creating, editing, and publishing print and video materials to support service lane applications, and create and help maintain various learning portals that house training, marketing, and informational materials for our dealers and field teams. This role will support the wider Business Operations (BizOps) team in all aspects of these applications including application rollout and ongoing support, preparation and delivery of training materials, and dealer/field communications. This role will also support the Dealer System Provider (DSP) Integrations team in all aspects of these programs and applications including third-party vendor integration certification, as well as the wider initiatives for the Business Operations team and Digital Sales & Services organization in support of our customers, dealers, and field team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of an overall training and onboarding process for service lane field personnel.
- Write, edit, and publish service lane related training documents, marketing materials, newsletters, and more.
- Create digital assets promoting service lane tools including marketing material and content updates
- Develop brand identities for BizOps team and other internal groups. This includes page layouts, PowerPoints, logos, brochures, and other educational materials.
- Assist with video production & editing of At Your Service dealer video program and other ad-hoc video requests.
- Work with BizOps SMEs to create communications and marketing materials for their dedicated area(s).
- Serve as a primary business point of contact for third-party vendors throughout their implementation of Service Solutions’ integrations during the development, testing, pilot, and release phases in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina
- Support global expansion for third-party service lane integrations
- Become an SME on various applications (3Synergy, OSS, SAVI, My BDC, etc.) affecting the Service Solutions line of business.
- Carry out established processes and triage issues reported by the field and dealers to ensure a timely resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, journalism or similar field
- Ability to work independently and maintain organization of key projects
- Project Management background and experience
- Must be familiar with dealership fixed operations and service lane processes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills, experienced in visual storytelling and crafting effective slideware
- Great eye for detail and fast learner
- Create deliverables with little guidance from leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or TechSmith Camtasia video software
Preferred Qualifications
- Instructional design background a plus
- Experience in creating and hosting training content for new hires
- Dealer service lane or field experience
- Intermediate (or better) graphic design, desktop publishing, and video editing skills (portfolio of sample work would be extremely helpful)
