The E-Commerce Coordinator position will also be responsible for following up on Internet leads and attempting to convert these leads into actual sales. In this role you will maintain the day-to-day operations of the business for both owned eCommerce and e-retail partners, communicating closely with other departments, and maintaining records of sales data. He or she will also be required to find leads by doing online research or promoting positive customer relations via e-mail. This role will focus on product data, visual merchandising, site optimization and efficiencies, and working cross-functionally to improve the customer experience.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans supporting the overarching Ecommerce strategy.
- Build and updates amazon website content (Products, Content, Promotions)
- Management of Shopify, Amazon & other e-commerce platforms.
- Ensures all products are represented in best possible manner leveraging all content avenues including text, reviews, images, and others.
- Provides daily maintenance of online selling, website, and updating pricing.
- Develops strategies to improve sales including content layout, customer programs, personalization, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) social promotion, mobile, affiliate marketing, retargeting etc.
- Manages opportunities to meet or exceed annual gross sales.
- Drive sales through marketing campaigns to reach revenue goals.
- Develop marketing strategy for retargeting, social media, and email.
- Responsible for product creation, category management, site content upload, and campaign creations.
- Monitor site for bugs and partner with cross functional teams to resolve site content and product related issues.
- Conduct daily audits of the websites and execute competitor benchmarking.
- Delivers and tracks performance metrics, trends, updates, and reports.
- Identifies and tracks new marketing platforms, advertising mediums, and partnering opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with website staff, cross-functional teams, and partners/vendors to maintain organizational website assets.
- Project management of new product launches.
- Liaison with product vendors.
- Monitor and make recommendations based on industry trends.
- Work with AALS team to monitor, adjust, and order product inventory.
- Monitor product cost and pricing.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Handles complex, sensitive customer service issues and provides expert guidance in all aspects of order fulfillment.
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience
- Previous experience with E-Commerce &/or digital platform (i.e. Amazon) selling.
- Previous experience with online selling of lighting merchandise is preferred.
- Consistent experience prospecting own leads.
- Previous track record of success includes over achievement of quota, top performer, history of initial seeding of accounts and closing significantly large size deals.
- In-depth knowledge of successful sales strategies and relationship management, as well as program development, goal setting, implementation, evaluation, contract administration and risk management of sales functions.
- Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- CIN7 is preferred.
Requirements
- Detail-orientation and organization skills
- Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
- Experience and advanced proficiency with content management systems, browser applications, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, mobile and web analytics tools.
- Strong attention to detail for managing quality assurance, usability/user experience, and performance testing, and final approval across all verticals.
- Demonstrate success in creating a vision and achieving goals in the face of an evolving environment.
- Handle the work quickly and in a timely manner with the flexible thinking
- Self-motivated with persuasive, enthusiastic, and customer-service oriented personality and good negotiation and organizational skills; detail-oriented aptitude.
