Your Role
Reporting to the Sr National Account Manager, Amazon & Whole Foods, the Sr. Customer Sales Analyst will support growing Vital Farms' grocery presence within total Amazon & Whole Foods enterprise business. You'll manage the details that keep our sales organization running smoothly — from deductions and supply chain performance to reporting and analytics — while also gaining exposure to customer-facing work, category reviews, and strategic planning including internal business reviews. The right candidate will have a strong analytical foundation, a desire to work cross-functionally, and ambitions to grow.
What You'll Do
Sales Reporting & Business Analytics
- Produce recurring weekly and monthly reports for Whole Foods and Amazon, including POS performance, shipment trends, distribution tracking, promotional effectiveness, and DC/FC-level service metrics.
- Pull, clean, and analyze data from Nielsen, SPINS, Circana, Amazon Vendor Central, and the WFM Supplier Portal to identify gaps, velocity drivers, promotional ROI, and business trends.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and scorecards to support Sr Account Manager with real-time visibility into business performance.
- Partner with Category Management and Insights to translate data extracts into actionable insights that support Vital Farms' growth in the Natural and eCommerce channels.
Sales Operations, Supply Chain & Forecast Accuracy
- Monitor weekly demand signals, forecast accuracy, and fill-rate performance for both Whole Foods and Amazon.
- Identify and escalate supply chain risks, such as out-of-stocks, late shipments, or DC/FC imbalances, to ensure strong service levels.
- Support demand planning through data validation, forecast tracking, and identifying variances or trends that may impact upcoming orders or promotions.
Deductions & Trade Spend Reporting
- Review, validate, and track Whole Foods and Amazon trade deductions with a focus on data accuracy, documentation, and alignment with promotional calendars.
- Analyze recurring deduction patterns and provide data-backed recommendations to improve processes and reduce invalid claims.
- Support internal trade spend reporting, reconciliation, and variance tracking.
Cross-Functional Reporting Support
- Provide data extracts, analytical summaries, and reporting support for internal Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Assist in preparing inputs for customer-facing materials by supplying accurate data sets, insights, and trend analyses.
- Ensure data consistency across dashboards, systems, and internal tools through regular audits and updates.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, marketing or other related fields.
- 3+ years of CPG experience in sales support, supply chain, finance, analytics, or Sales Category Management. Experience supporting Whole Foods Market and Amazon preferred.
- Ability to travel 25-30% for customer & internal meetings, including training, etc.
- Must be located near a major regional airport, Austin Texas preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
- Exposure to syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and retailer systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail & ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage in cross-functional teamwork.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset — you're eager to continue to gain experience in Sales within Consumer Packaged Goods/Food & Beverage industry and grow into a sales leadership role .

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $95,000 - $105,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
