JOB SUMMARY The Lead Generation Associate is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective customers to support the branch operations pipeline. This role focuses on researching target accounts, initiating outbound outreach, responding to inbound interest, and setting high quality appointments for the sales team. This position exercises discretion and independent judgment in prioritizing leads, recommending outreach strategies, and supporting sales and marketing decisions that impact revenue growth. This role partners closely with the HQ Marketing team and maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief Marketing Officer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • 1-3 year lead generation experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.
  • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell services for landscaping or direct services companies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Lead Identification & Outreach

  • Identify potential consumer leads through referrals, social media, inbound inquiries, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to engage prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads by understanding consumer needs, preferences, and decision-making factors.
  • Nurture early-stage leads through timely follow-ups and value-driven communication.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Partner with HQ Marketing and Sales teams to refine messaging, align strategies, and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to showcase current and completed projects across digital platforms.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media content, and display advertising.
  • Work with current clients and designers to generate referrals and support the client experience.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas and materials for sales leadership.

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and detailed lead information within the CRM.
  • Track and manage sales and marketing data to support decision-making.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports using Salesforce or similar software.
  • Provide ongoing feedback on lead quality, outreach performance, and market insights.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to understand target audiences, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
  • Interpret market insights and independently recommend adjustments to lead-generation and marketing strategies.

Performance & Compliance

  • Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets by independently prioritizing outreach activities and adjusting lead-generation approaches to meet business objectives.
  • Support digital and in-person activities that promote lead and sales growth.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and business operations.
  • Contribute to overall revenue growth by generating high quality leads that convert into sales opportunities.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist with networking events, trade shows, and vendor events.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with HQ Marketing on the selection and delivery of all marketing-related promotional items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 - 20 pounds
  • Less than 10% travel on occasion to events and shows.

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $55,000 - $70,000
