SUMMARY

The Sales & Marketing Manager is a highly organized, sales-minded professional responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day marketing operations while driving revenue through private event sales and external sales initiatives. This role plays a key part in selling and coordinating private events across our theater locations, MN AXE, and Krazy Darts, while also managing essential marketing administration, project coordination, and studio-related marketing support.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on execution, coordination, and relationship management, and who enjoys balancing sales responsibilities with marketing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Private Events

  • Lead and support inside and outside sales efforts related to private events, group sales, and select sponsorship opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for private event clients, managing inquiries, communications, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate private event details with operations teams to ensure successful execution and a strong guest experience.
  • Track and report on private events and sales performance metrics.

Marketing Administration & Project Management

  • Manage and execute day-to-day marketing administrative tasks.
  • Review, approve, and coordinate on-screen advertising to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance with studio and company standards.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and asset trackers.
  • Provide marketing project management support, including timelines, approvals, and cross-department coordination.
  • Coordinate the creation, distribution, and implementation of marketing materials across digital, on-site, and promotional channels.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns for film releases, special promotions, and seasonal initiatives.

Studio & Partner Coordination

  • Serve as a point of contact for studio marketing teams.
  • Assist with studio relations, marketing materials, timelines, and campaign requirements.
  • Stay informed on studio guidelines, release schedules, and marketing requirements.

Collaboration & Representation

  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Represent the organization at select community or industry events as needed.

  • Experience with private event sales, group sales, or client-facing sales roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to track and interpret basic sales and marketing performance metrics.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing coordination, event sales, or project management.
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or multi-location businesses is a plus.

WORK ENVIORNMENT

  • Combination of remote office work, on-site location support, and event-based environments.
  • Evening and weekend availability may be required based on event schedules.
