Your New Role...

This role assists the VP, Theatrical Marketing with coordinating and executing various elements of the digital marketing campaigns for all theatrical releases. This includes social media and digital promotions, creator partnerships and servicing content.

Your Role Responsibilities...

  • Work with the VP, Theatrical Marketing to reference global digital strategies, calendars and assets to create impactful localized film campaigns for the Canadian market
  • Attend weekly calls with the home office digital, influencer and legal teams and provide updates and detailed notes to senior management
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison between WB Canada and the social media/ corporate portal management agency
  • Provide administrative assistance in the execution of all digital, social media and creator programs for Canadian campaigns. This includes nominating and securing opportunities with home office as well as liaising with local agencies
  • Assist in the development of all creative briefs and post campaign reports relating to the digital, social media and creator programs for Canadian campaigns
  • Assist in posting cadence scheduling, copywriting and fulfillment for all Canadian social channels and digital specialty opportunities
  • When required, provide on-site assistance in the execution of all creator and special marketing events for Canadian campaigns. This includes screenings, press tours, festivals and stunts
  • Provide localized creative assets to digital vendors as required
  • Maintain internal creator database and provide vetting services as needed
  • Work with the corporate portal management agency to ensure the Canadian website and social channels have updated marketing assets at time of debut
  • Process and track invoices for all digital marketing and creator programs for Canadian campaigns ensuring budgets are updated in real time
  • Assist VP, Theatrical Marketing with administrative duties as required
  • Other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Undergraduate university degree or diploma in the arts, digital marketing, social media marketing, public relations, communications, or marketing
  • Three years of related work experience in digital marketing, social media / creator marketing, entertainment, or public relations fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Understanding of key social media platforms (Meta, X, Tik Tok, Pinterest and Snap)
  • Understanding of the current Canadian creator landscape
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive and competitive business environment
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Google doc, PowerPoint, Photoshop
