Position Summary...Join the team driving digital strategy and transformation for Walmart’s Global Governance (GG) organization. The Senior Manager, Technology Operations role is a critical role on the GG Digital Acceleration team that oversees technology alignment with strategic business objectives, execution of our digital solutions, provides direction on long-term technology strategy, and explores new technology opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

The Global Governance organization is a critical support function for Walmart. The Senior Manager, Technology Operations - Digital Acceleration role will be the vertical lead supporting technology initiatives for Global Governance.

What you'll do...

  • Lead Technology Initiatives: Oversee the full lifecycle of new technology projects, from concept to implementation. Conduct discovery sessions to identify customer, operational, and compliance needs, and translate high-level requirements into actionable features in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and communicate business plans, objectives, and key results with clear success criteria. Monitor project progress, adjust performance as needed, and create contingency plans to ensure successful outcomes. Drive and execute projects across divisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strong user adoption through effective change management.
  • Product & Budget Management: Manage product roadmaps and backlogs, coordinate budgeting efforts, and assess ROI to prioritize initiatives. Prepare budget recommendations and identify resource needs for senior leadership approval.
  • Customer Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement: Champion a customer-centric delivery model by building strong partnerships across the business. Drive accountability for commitments and outcomes, and promote continuous improvement by soliciting and applying feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of current plans and programs, consult with key stakeholders, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Citizen Development Leadership: Govern and lead Global Governance citizen development initiatives on low-code/no-code platforms. Define operating standards, ensure security and compliance, and empower the citizen developer community through training and support. Track adoption, value realization, and risk metrics to drive ongoing program improvement.

Minimum Qualifications...

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in technology, product management, system management and integration, process design, technology operations or related area

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related area
  • 7 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex products.
  • Experience establishing and scaling citizen development programs, including governance, enablement, and risk controls.
  • Working knowledge of REACH, Airtable, and Code Puppy to support governed workflow automation and citizen development.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
