About the Role

A leading Utilities organization is seeking a visionary Principal Technology Architect to define and implement the future-state architecture for the Coworker User-Technologies domain. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture to set tactical roadmaps, align technology strategies with business goals, and enhance the digital employee experience through modern, secure, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and align Digital Workplace technology strategies with enterprise goals.
• Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, standards, and reference architectures.
• Collaborate on Digital Workplace portfolio planning and budgeting to align with strategic roadmaps.
• Drive technology governance, standards, and vendor evaluations.
• Monitor industry trends and propose innovative solutions to improve employee experience.
• Lead technical design reviews, solution implementations, and change initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on the full Digital Workplace stack, including collaboration, identity, security, and endpoint technologies.
• Mentor and provide strategic direction to technical teams within the Digital Workplace organization.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, SCCM, Windows, macOS, iOS, and endpoint management.
• Experience with automation, Power Platform, AI-driven IT support, and Lean/Agile practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in the Utilities / Energy sector preferred.
