Summary

The Director of Digital Transformation is responsible for driving the organization towards modern, technology driven solutions. Apply systems and technologies that enhance the market facing capabilities of the NAES portfolio of products and services, leveraging the latest and evolving information systems technologies. Seek to maximize organizational efficiency and reduce overall process related cost for ERP systems, CRM tools, payroll/timesheet processing and other cost of doing business activities related to the systems infrastructure. Strategically align with multiple SBUs on meeting their needs, including applying systems tools and methodologies to product development as well as back-office order processing, project management, and management reporting. Oversee the strategic enterprise architecture for NAES Corporation and its Strategic Business Units. Manage a cross-functional technology team designed to identify cost-savings and to preserve and enhance the NAES enterprise architecture.

Primary Duties

  • Lead systems implementation and improvement initiatives related to ERP, CRM, payroll and other core systems across multiple SBUs
  • Oversee existing systems and their overall product management, change management and integrations ensuring upgrades, modifications and change requests are aligned with the strategic needs of the business
  • Design a clear, actionable strategy for integrating digital technologies into the business, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands
  • Oversee software provider’s update process applying testing protocols that confirm functionality without impact to NAES prior to installing or implementing changes
  • Work with individual departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, identify process efficiency gains, applying Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to optimize business processes through the use of the NAES enterprise architecture
  • Work with Product Managers and others seeking to maximize the use of systems tools and technologies guiding best use and practices during the product development phase. This includes researching and recommending applications as required to meet the needs of the products and business.
  • Maintain an understanding of existing and emerging technologies. Specifically align AI-driven initiatives with organizational goals ensuring a competitive edge in a technology-driven market
  • Support systems due diligence and integration strategies for mergers and acquisitions

Working Relationships

Report directly to the VP of Engineered Performance and regularly communicate with corporate IT partners, Operations, and Finance teams. This position will require strong networking and relationship management skills. Lead a team of systems and technology/IT experts designed to support multiple systems and functions required by NAES SBUs.

Compensation

The initial compensation will range from $195,700 - $225,000

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.
  • Preferred Education: MBA
  • Years of Experience:
  • 10 Years of experience leading managing cross-functional technology teams, process improvement and optimization, strategic enterprise architecture governance and design.
  • Experience in leading complex software implementation projects
  • Software/Equipment Knowledge:
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of ERP systems, CRM tools and cloud based solutions
  • Other Considerations:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing team
  • Experience in leading and driving cost-saving opportunities
  • Experience in driving process and culture change
  • Demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement with the ability to think on a strategic level as well as a tactical level in order to drive solutions within a matrix organization
  • Able to manage time effectively while working under tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
  • Able to analyze scenarios, interpret data and make sound professional judgments and recommendations
  • Able to interpret and solve practical problems, clearly communicate tasks and needs, and train other personnel
  • Able to understand and interpret business financial drivers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical/quantitative skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Travel required to attend meetings, training, or conferences
  • Ability to do sitting, walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
